Living dangerously

I know that it is good to stretch yourself

to live on the edge

pushing yourself past your comfort zone.

I've been doing that in the studio lately,

but I have been playing it safe

compared to my visitors.

They came strolling by last week -

nonchalantly meandering,

not a care in the world.

I could only ask myself one question:

Don't they know which holiday is just around the corner?
